2. Types of data processed and purposes
2.1 Browsing data
The IT systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain technical data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols: IP addresses, browser type, operating system, date and time of the request, pages visited. This data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check that it is functioning correctly.
The site does not collect personal data through contact forms. To contact the association, the email address cherimus@gmail.com is available; any data provided via email is processed exclusively to respond to the request received.
3. Cookies
The website www.cherimus.net has been checked using specialized analysis tools and does not use profiling cookies, marketing cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party cookies of any kind.
The only technical cookies present on the site are WordPress session cookies, active exclusively when an administrator logs into the site’s backend. For regular visitors, no cookies are set in the browser.
As no non-technical cookies are present, pursuant to Art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority on cookies (2021), user consent is not required.
4. Processing methods and data retention
Personal data is processed using IT tools, with methods strictly related to the purposes stated above, and in a way that ensures the security and confidentiality of the data.
Browsing logs (IP addresses, pages visited, browser type) are managed through an automatic size-based rotation system: up to a maximum of 150 MB of logs are retained (3 files of 50 MB each), after which older data is automatically overwritten. Email communications are retained for the time strictly necessary to handle the request and, should a relationship be established, for the duration of that relationship.
5. Data disclosure and transfer
Personal data is not sold, transferred, or disclosed to third parties, except in cases provided for by law. The site does not use third-party analytics services, social plugins, or other tools that involve the transmission of data to third parties.
The server hosting the site is managed by Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany), which provides the cloud infrastructure acting as data processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, based in the European Union and therefore subject to the GDPR.
6. Rights of the data subject
Pursuant to Articles 15–22 GDPR, users have the right to:
- Access their personal data (Art. 15)
- Obtain rectification (Art. 16) or erasure (Art. 17)
- Obtain restriction of processing (Art. 18)
- Object to processing (Art. 21)
- Receive their data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format — data portability (Art. 20)
Requests should be sent to: cherimus@gmail.com
Please note that the site does not carry out any processing based on user consent: the only data processed is technical browsing data (IP addresses, browser type, operating system, date and time of the request, pages visited), collected automatically for security purposes and anonymous statistics on the site’s operation.
Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority — Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
